Let's Fill the Bottle for Romanian Kids! Romania Reborn turns 10 years old this month, and we're celebrating with gifts for needy children in Romania! Our goal: to raise $10,000 in July. Amount raised as of 8/6/2008: $17,835 Projects Hope House Family Center Our primary ministry, Hope House rescues babies and children from abandonment. Toddlers come to our beautiful orphanage facility, while babies are placed temporarily in foster care. The final goal for all children is permanence in an adoptive family. More... Living Hope Center A comprehensive ministry to needy children and families in southern Romania. LHC offers after-school tutoring and food for at-risk children, a community medical clinic, and other social assistance. A sewing business provides employment for three women, and a family conference center is in the works. More... Adoption Advocacy Launched in 2005, our Adoption Advocacy fund supports efforts to change Romania's ill-advised "child welfare" law. The law, which was passed in June 2004, bans international adoption, severely limits domestic adoption, and limits private relief work among children. More...
